Parks & Facilities
The Carbondale Park District maintains 7 beautiful parks located throughout the City of Carbondale. All park shelters, park pavilions, softball/baseball diamonds, soccer/football fields, Hickory Lodge Grounds, the gazebo, the Life Community Center indoor pool, and the LIFE Community Center meeting rooms may be reserved. Community Garden Plots and Fun Kits may also be reserved. Reservations are taken in person on a "first come, first serve" basis at the LIFE Community Center, 2500 West Sunset Drive. Additional meeting and banquet facilities are available at the Hickory Ridge Golf Center Clubhouse. Whether you're looking for a location for a family gathering, a wedding, a sport venue, fishing, playground equipment or just a picturesque walk you'll find it all with the Carbondale Park District.
